The following contains spoilers for today’s Flickle.
At a very dim dusk someone rides a horse through a town. A group of people in a fancy room dressed in 1700s clothing look at someone off-screen, standing awkwardly in place before bowing/curtseying. A fisheye lens shot of someone wheeling a woman in a wheelchair to look out a window to the view of violinists practicing in a courtyard. A man (Nicholas Hoult) says ‘if you’re so close to the Queen why not just ask this favour yourself?’ – a woman off-screen replies ‘I do not want her to ever think I want anything.’ A man enters a room and says to a woman (Rachel Weisz) ‘the Queen requests the return of your key, you will return it and vacate court today.’ Finally, a woman (Olivia Colman) looks out a window seeminly lost in thought while another (Emma Stone) speaks to her – ‘there’s a simple explanation I’m not seeing…we shall banish it from our minds.’
