The following contains spoilers for today’s Flickle.
An aerial shot pans from a helicopter to the street below where a van speeds through an intersection, colliding with a car and building before erupting into a fireball. The foyer of a building marked Metropolis, its lighting sickly green, has its power shut off, plunging into dark. A security display shows someone sitting in foetal position by a counter. There is a candlelit dinner – the table is empty. A man standing on a roof holds up a handwritten sign – ‘5 MORE DAYS.’ Finally, a different man is protesting the idea of going on ‘a suicide mission to rescue Terry’s already dead girlfriend’ – Terry is offended by the phrasing.

Dawn of the Dead (2004)
Directed by Zack Snyder and a remake of the 1978 film of the same name, the movie follows a group of people trying to survive the zombie apocalypse in an abandoned shopping centre.
